Privacy Policy

Luxxat Labs ("we") is the sole proprietorship of Nurshat, registered in Kazakhstan. This policy covers the mobile apps we publish, including PromptOwl on iPhone and Android. The short version: the app works with no account, and nothing about you leaves your phone unless you switch on Sync yourself. Even then, we store only your scripts and the identity from your sign-in. We use no analytics, show no ads, track nothing, and sell or share nothing.

What we collect when Sync is off

Nothing. That is how PromptOwl ships. There is no account and no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind. The only network traffic the app causes then is your store's own purchase system (Apple's StoreKit on iPhone, Google Play Billing on Android), which never passes through us.

Your scripts and recordings

Scripts you write and takes you record are stored on your device. Recordings are saved to your Photos or Gallery only when you choose Save. Deleting them from the app or from your gallery removes them. We have no way to see a recording, and no recording is ever uploaded.

Sync (Pro) — what leaves your phone, and when

Sync is a Pro feature, off by default, and you switch it on yourself. When you turn it on, PromptOwl asks you to sign in with Apple or with Google — once. From then on, your scripts are stored in our database as well as on your phone, so your other phone can read them.

What we store when Sync is on:

• Your scripts: the title and the text you wrote, and the times you last changed them.
• Who you are, from the sign-in: an account number, the name on the account, and the e-mail address. If you use Sign in with Apple and choose Hide My Email, we only ever see Apple's relay address.

That is the whole list.

What we never store:

• Your recordings. Every take stays on your phone.
• Your location, your contacts, your photos, your other apps.
• Anything at all when Sync is off.

Where it is stored. On Google Cloud, in Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore, in Google's European region. Everything travels over an encrypted connection. The security rules let one account read and write its own scripts only — nobody else's account can reach them, and neither can an account that is not signed in.

How to stop Sync, and how to delete your data

• Turn Sync off, or sign out, at any time in Settings. Your scripts stay on your phone. They stop travelling to your other phones.
• To delete what we hold, open Settings → Sync → Delete my sync data. This removes your account and every script stored under it, at once. The scripts on your phone stay.
• You can also write to support@luxxatlabs.com from the address you signed in with. We delete your account and every script stored under it within 30 days, and we write back when it is done.

Microphone, camera, and speech

PromptOwl uses the camera and microphone to record your takes, only while you record. The voice-follow feature uses your phone's on-device speech recognition (Apple's on iPhone, Google's on-device recognizer on Android): audio and transcripts are processed entirely on your device and never leave it. We receive no audio, no transcripts, and no recordings. On Android, the floating window uses the "Display over other apps" permission only to show your script above your camera app; it reads nothing from other apps.

Purchases

Pro is a one-time purchase processed by Apple or by Google. We never see your payment details. Refunds are handled by the store under its terms.

Children

Our apps are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect anything from a child.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will post the new version at this address with a new date. If an app of ours ever adds analytics, this page changes on the same day as that build, not after it.
